Celebrating 10 Years of Fitness, Fun, and Friendship

A wedding, celebrations of loved ones we have lost, celebrations of little new loves to our lives, a move and renovation, a pandemic. The Bodysmith has been more than a place of business and livelihood for me over the past ten years. It has been a family and a group of friends to share, cry, rejoice, and celebrate with all of these special moments that make up life.

This January we are proud and privileged to celebrate 10 years of The Bodysmith bringing you health and wellness, and we are thankful for our clients, you, who have made this possible. After our packed grand opening last year, I planned to throw another bash to celebrate this milestone with my Bodysmith family. Sadly, this will not be possible, but know that we have the deepest gratitude for all of our clients over the past ten years and this past year especially. There are many of you that have been with us from day one.

2021 also marks our 5 year anniversary of our Rock Steady Boxing program. I know I speak for all of my coaches in saying that you fighters and your families are a much loved part of The Bodysmith. You give us as much as the program gives you.

This past year we lost a dear friend and the man responsible for our new home, Jim Morris. Without Rock Steady, Jim and his son-in-law Neil, may never have been part of The Bodysmith, and for them we can say thank you for the perfect place to call home.

There have been many education students over the last ten years that have become friends and even part of The Bodysmith team. I am thankful to all of you.  This year marks an exciting transition with a past student that became a friend and now partner as we launch our own Pilates education program, The Mixed Method.

To all of the past and current instructors and staff, thank you. My deepest gratitude. You truly make The Bodysmith more than a business and a place to work. You make it a community, you make it a family.

While we cannot yet gather, I invite you to raise a virtual glass. Cheers! Here is to another 10 years!
