A one-on-one session with an instructor to meet your individual goals and needs. A private session allows you to be able to work on all pieces of equipment with a program designed specifically for you.
Two students to an instructor. Work out with a friend or spouse. A well-rounded program to meet the needs of both individuals, allowing for more attention to student’s needs from the instructor than a larger group class.
Closed Group Classes
A closed group Pilates class consists of 4 to 6 participants. The class meets weekly at the same time and day with the same instructor for 5 weeks. Participants are charged for missed classes but can attend a drop-in class for a make-up. Closed classes allow for consistency and the ability of a group to progress together. .
Classes for a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 8, depending on the class type. These classes may be scheduled online and is a great way to maximize your dollar! Classes may be a well-rounded workout on the equipment as in our closed group classes or themed on one of your favorite pieces of equipment. Classes include bosu, chair, equipment, essential mat, intermediate mat, stability ball and more! Please see our Online Scheduler for a complete list and description.
CORE BARRE™ promotes high energy, low impact, and fat burning exercises based on elements of pilates, ballet and athletic conditioning. This creates an awareness and appreciation for beautiful, mindful and Smart Movement™.
Precision Nutrition is a well-recognized, science and research-driven nutrition coaching program. Our coaches listen to your needs and what you want to accomplish. The initial consultation will help the coach learn how you live, discovering what's really important to you. You will then work with your coach to create the right nutrition and exercise approach based on your lifestyle and goals. Rock Steady Boxing
Rock Steady Boxing gives people with Parkinson's disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum.
Parkinson's disease is a degenerative movement disorder which can cause deterioration of motor skills, balance, speech and sensory function. The Parkinson's Disease Foundation estimates there are more than 1 million people in the United States diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and more than 60,000 people are diagnosed each year.
In our gym, exercises are largely adapted from boxing drills. Boxers condition for optimal agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, hand-eye coordination, footwork and overall strength to defend against and overcome opponents. At RSB, Parkinson's disease is the opponent. Exercises vary in purpose and form but share one common trait: they are rigorous and intended to extend the perceived capabilities of the participant.
Various studies in the 1980s and 1990s supported the notion that rigorous exercise, emphasizing gross motor movement, balance, core strength, and rhythm, could favorably impact range of motion, flexibility, posture, gait, and activities of daily living. More recent studies, most notably at Cleveland Clinic, focus on the concept of intense "forced" exercise, and have begun to suggest that certain kinds of exercise may be neuro-protective, i.e., actually slowing disease progression.
Parkinson's clients attest, and academic institutions, such as University of Indianapolis and Butler University, are reporting and documenting the improved quality of life among Rock Steady boxers. Discovery of a cure may be many years away but in the last seven years, there is evidence that progress is made in all stages of the disease by those participating in the RSB program.

Rock Steady Boxing Assessment
Each Parkinson's client's journey with Rock Steady Boxing will start with a physical assessment. A certified Rock Steady coach will work with you to determine the correct level of classes, as well as track changes in scores over 6 month intervals. Gloves and wraps can be purchased at the time of the assessment, if the participant would like their own equipment. The assessment will take one and a half hours.
Assessment - $55 + tax
Rock Steady Boxing Unlimited Monthly Package
Once an assessment has been given and we contact the client's doctor for a medical release, they will be able to attend Rock Steady Boxing classes as often as their schedule allows for a monthly fee. Spouses or caregivers, known as cornermen, are encouraged to attend free of charge. In addition to exercise, Rock Steady encourages the "Fun Factor!" Throughout our history, RSB has developed games, traditions, and activities that promote FUN, keeping the morale high and the boxers looking forward to each class. Along with the boxing-style workout, it's not uncommon to play with toys, footballs, basketballs and have a good time in our classes. Our Coaches are constantly weaving in creative and entertaining ways to combat a multitude of Parkinson's symptoms.
Getting the right kind of exercise is part of the battle, but equally important are the social and emotional benefits people gain from Rock Steady. Our classes encourage intense exercise and functional fitness, as well as emotional and social support, which is vital to the well-being of people with Parkinson's.

Hula Hoop Classes
Hula Hoop Fitness is a fun way to tone and strengthen your body. During this one hour class you will get your heart rate up, tone your hips, thighs, arms, and strengthen your core. Hoops are provided but if you have your own, feel free to bring it with you. Come join the fun!
Active Isolated Stretching (AIS): The Mattes Method
Active Isolated Stretching (AIS): The Mattes Method, developed by Aaron L. Mattes, is one of the methods of stretching most used and respected by today's athletes and personal trainers. The AIS technique uses an active movement and reciprocal inhibition to achieve optimal flexibility. Performing a stretch of no more than 2 seconds has proven to be the key in avoiding reflexive contraction of the antagonistic muscles. AIS promotes optimal range of motion by facilitating flexibility at the joint, mobility of the spine and kinesthetic awareness that will add to athletic performance and offer freedom of movement that enhances daily health and well being. Instructors will provide clients with assisted stretches to the areas identified as shortened in the postural assessments of the first 5 sessions. Instructors will also provide clients with self stretches that may be performed at home.
Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient form of martial arts, practiced today primarily for its health benefits. Its origins are shrouded in myth and legend, but there are references to Tai Chi in some form as long as 5,000 years ago.
Although Tai Chi is a powerful martial art with significant application toward fighting, it is also practiced because of the profound health benefits that it imparts. It is adaptable to any age or level of fitness. The benefits come through many repetitions and slow, deliberate practice. This presents a unique challenge in our society which values speed and multi-tasking. The focus on breathing and coordinating the movement with the breath reinforces the mind-body connection, which lowers stress levels and positively impacts the immune system.

Morning Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa style yoga links poses or "asanas" with the breath. The flow practice is dynamic and incorporates sun salutations, standing poses, gentle backbends, inversions and unwinding postures. A deep relaxation closing is included in each class. Modifications are offered so students may enhance or reduce the intensity of the practice.
CORE SUSPEND™ is an invigorating suspension workout that incorporates the use of your own body weight as resistance. It triggers the deep stabilizers of the body to contract and support the joints, hence helps the body learn proper movement patterns without too much 'brain effort'. The unique SUSPEND sling system also aids in decompressing the spine and balancing the body by exercising it in multiple planes of movement that aim at developing incredible strength, balance and flexibility all at the same time.

A kettlebell looks like a cannonball with a handle! It has been around for centuries as a tool to develop strength, flexibility and endurance. Kettlebells are a fun, exhilarating way to develop and improve mobility and all around fitness. The best way to explain it is to experience it!
Get Up and Swing Class
This class will focus on the two fundamental moves of the Russian Kettlebell method of training - the Turkish Get Up and the Swing. We will work on movement patterns, mobility, stability and how to safely handle a bell. Experience a fun and exhilarating way to train your body.
Prerequisite: Kettlebell Orientation Class required.
The Swing and Beyond Class
In this class we will go beyond the Turkish Get Up and the Swing to further develop strength and stamina. We will add more moves and learn how to incorporate them into stellar training sessions.
Prerequisite: Get Up and Swing Class or proficiency.
An hour long Saturday morning session devoted to the hardstyle kettlebell swing.
Prerequisite: Kettlebell Orientation Class or proficiency.
Kettlebell Orientation Class
A 90 minute class for 1-5 participants scheduled at the clients convenience to prepare participants for the Get Up & Swing Class.
$40 a one time private session to introduce you to the concepts and machinery of Pilates

Drop-in classes $20 for one class; 5 classes for $80 or 10 for $160 ($16 per class); must have two or more participants in order for class to be held.

For your safety: If you are interested in joining a group class for the first time we recommend taking our Introductory Class offering.
• Private, duet and closed groups are 55 minutes in length, drop-in classes are 50 minutes.
• 24-hour notice of cancellation is required to avoid being charged. (Does not apply to closed groups.)
• Late cancel and “No shows” will be charged the full amount of the scheduled session
• All packages are non-refundable.
• 5 session packages, whether private, duet, or drop-in classes, are valid for 60 days from the date of purchase; 10 session packages are valid for 90 days
• As a courtesy to your group members in a closed group class a 2 week notice is appreciated if not continuing with the group class in the following session.
Drop-in class schedule may be changed. Please call, or check our website. Generally changes are posted one to two weeks prior.
Instructors for group classes may be substituted without notice.
