Instructor and Bodyworker
Garrell is a longtime yoga instructor and bodyworker, who has worked with both beginners and more advanced bodies. Over the years, he has fine tuned his skills in yoga and structural body work so that he is able to interpret how our bodies present the strain of today's lifestyles, seeing where that strain has left its mark as structural deficts and restrictions in the person's physical structure. Garrell works with yoga and bodywork to unwind patterns caused by such restrictions. Additionally, Garrell's sequencing skills allow for a relaxation response from the nervous system aiding a calmer overall demeanor in the individual student.
ABM NeuroMovement® Practitioner
Erin heard about the Anat Baniel method (ABM) while researching innovative therapies for her son who was born with Cerebral Palsy. After finding a practitioner and seeing the swift progress her son made with this method, she decided to pursue her own certification as an ABM NeuroMovement® practitioner so that she too could help others - both children with special needs as well as adults - find an easier way to function in their daily lives.
She has offered group classes and individual lessons out of her home since earning her certificate as an ABM practitioner. Recently having resigned from her previous profession, she now pursues her passion of teaching others the tremendous, cascading value of elegant movement as a full-time career, launching Move Your Brain, southern Missouri's only ABM practice.
